 Comfort Farms of Bedford is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a peaceful and joyful haven for at-risk children as well as reaching out to others who may need comfort and support in our community.

 Our farm is nestled near the country club on Rte. 43 in Bedford, VA. The tranquil setting provides the perfect backdrop for families to unwind and enjoy nature. 

 Our primary goal is to offer a space where those in need of comfort can escape the challenges of their routines and immerse themselves in the serene environment of a small farm. We believe in the healing power of farm animals and the bonding experiences they create. 

 Families can enjoy a range of activities, including interacting with our gentle animals, the zip line, and sand box and playground equipment in the serenity of a small farm tucked away from the busy-ness of our society.  Maybe those who simply want a quiet place to sit alone and "ponder" will benefit from a retreat to our lovely gazebo surrounded by green pastures and quietly grazing goats.  We call them "bells" because they proudly wear a bell around their neck and because of their joyful spirit!

 The grand opening of Comfort Farms occurred September 16th.  We are thankful for the many volunteers and friends that came out to enjoy the day and celebrate the opening of our non-profit.
