Statement of Mission: Let's help our community heal.
Our mission has two priorities: first is to help meet the needs of children who may be at risk, the second is to bring comfort and healing to all who may be in need of the comfort afforded by Christ in our community.
At Comfort Farms of Bedford, our mission is to create a haven of joy and solace for the children in our community who may be displaced from their home, such as kids in foster care, those in domestic violence shelters, and others who simply need "the community" to help them heal from the hurts that have come into their lives. We recognize, also, that everyone, at times, has need of the peace and serenity afforded by a quiet place to withdraw from the clamor of our busy lives and just "sit a spell." The presence of gentle farm animals has an uncanny ability to bring solace to the soul, creating a space where both children and adults can find a respite from the trials of life. In addition to reaching out to children by providing the tranquility of the farm and the fun of multiple activities they can enjoy, we have recently joined the efforts of others to reach out to those who are bereaved in our community. We hope to offer a "grief care group" in the near future. If you share our mission and would like to be a part of our efforts to reach out to our community please contact us through a phone call or on our website.
Together, let's cultivate an environment of love, understanding, and lasting connections. Let's help our community heal.
Sincerely,
Linda Zeboskey
